just read this
"British born rocker Peter Frampton knows how to pack the crowds-even at the local library. Frampton,53,drew dozens of children and their parents -many of whom were frampton fans-to a childrens book reading where he read Shell Silversteins work" The giving Tree"
Frampton who moved to suburban Cinncinnati in 2000 with his family, has made time for several local benefit concerts and charity events"
I always loved Frampton AND the book :the giving Tree" I have a copy of it here tucked in a dresser drawer. It's all mine..my kids cant have it!!!! btw,Peter looks good too. Would love to see him live doing an acoustic set.

I'm not too crazy about his solo stuff, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Humble Pie. Easily one of my favorite bands! Though the main love for them is Mariotte, but anybody who was once a part of The Pie gets SERIOUS love from me!!! Especially a fellow founder!

even though it was massively overplayed on the airwaves at the time,"frampton comes alive" is one of my all time ever fav albums. Mostly for nostalgic reasons, but it was at a time that I was comming of age and the music was really speaking to me. Whenever I hear it(and I have 2 old copies on vinyl) I think of summer,as it was when that album was so massively big in the US a long while back in my weeee bitty youth. Something that will always make me smile.
